Homemade Frozen Burritos

homemade frozen burritos 1

Uncooked flour tortillas (I get mine at Costco)
Homemade refried beans(you HAVE to make your own … you have no idea!)
Cheddar cheese

Directions:

Begin by cooking ALL of your tortillas. I know it’s a pain to cook them, but please please please trust me. These freeze SO well in comparison to other tortillas. Then, spoon about 1/3 cup of beans onto the center of each tortilla. Sprinkle with cheese and roll up, making sure to tuck the sides in. To store, place each burrito in a snack size ziploc bag, and then place all of the wrapped burritos into a large freezer ziploc bag, like the picture below.

When you’re ready to eat one, just pop it in the microwave for 45 seconds, then flip it, then 45 seconds more. We may or may not eat these for dinner every third night when my husband is on shift. ;)

*You can add ground beef/taco meat to yours to change it up. I also like to buy a few bottles of Taco Bell Mild Sauce and drizzle some of that inside each burrito before I roll it up. MAJOR yum.
